Fabric inspection goes beyond observation – it's a meticulous process that determines whether fabrics meet your exact specifications. From count and construction to colour, design, measurement specifications, hand/feel, and other unique quality parameters, our services ensure that every piece of fabric aligns with your requirements. Fabric inspection is an important aspect followed prior to garment manufacturing to avoid rejections due to fabric quality leading to unexpected loss in garment manufacturing. Our fabric inspection services act as a shield, detecting potential problems before they escalate into costly manufacturing disruptions.

Cotecna CPS adheres to globally recognized standards for fabric inspection. ASTM D5430 dated 2007, specifically the 4 Point System, is the backbone of our inspection approach. This system is a proven methodology that ensures consistent and reliable results across a range of fabrics and materials. Selected fabric pieces/rolls undergo comprehensive inspection on a flat table (wide enough to hold the fabric in full width and about 3 meters in length) equipped with proper illumination i.e. two fluorescent tubes mounted at a height of 4'feet above the inspection table. Wherever available, a perch table is preferred, to achieve speedy inspection and reduced costs.
