Consumer Product Testing & Inspection Laboratory in Tirupur, Tamil Nadu
Cotecna CPS successfully launched a new fully operational Softlines Testing Laboratory in Tirupur, Tamil Nadu. Situated in the heart of Tamil Nadu at Tirupur, famously recognized as the Knitwear Hub of India, this state-of-the-art facility is strategically positioned to support both domestic and global brands and their suppliers with fast, reliable, and ISO/IEC 17025 accredited testing services.

Geo-Chem India, a proud member of the Cotecna Group, unveiled a specialized food testing lab in Unjha, Gujarat. Paper & Plastic Waste Management
The Cotecna CPS team reduced its carbon footprint by replacing disposable paper cups with ceramic ones. In addition, paper waste from the lab is now being recycled through a dedicated partner. Both moves aim to reduce landfill impact and promoting sustainable practices.
The team also successfully transitioned from non-compostable poly bags to compostable alternatives. This shift encourages eco-conscious practices across the organization and supports long-term sustainability goals.
Plastic Reduction at APL Tirora Site
Cotecna staff at APL Tirora, upgraded sample bags to more durable versions. The new bags have a lifecycle of up to five uses. This transition cut plastic consumption by over 50%, a small change with a big environmental payoff.
