Cotecna India marked its annual Safety Week from 22nd to 26th September, with teams across the country celebrating the initiative at their respective offices. The week-long campaign aimed to reinforce the company's commitment to workplace safety, employee well-being, and proactive hazard management.
The celebrations featured a diverse lineup of activities designed to engage employees and promote a culture of safety:
- Safety Pledge Signing: Employees across all offices signed a prominently displayed pledge, affirming their personal commitment to uphold safety standards and practices.
- "Hazard Hunter" Challenge: A safety-themed scavenger hunt encouraged staff to identify and report potential hazards in their workspaces. Winners were recognized for their vigilance and contribution to a safer environment.
- Emergency Preparedness Drill: Offices conducted mock drills to ensure employees are familiar with emergency protocols and confident in responding to critical situations.
- Health Check-Up Camps: Free health screenings were organized, offering checks for vitals, BMI, blood pressure, and consultations with medical professionals—emphasizing the link between personal health and workplace safety.
- Safety Perception Survey: Employees were invited to share their views through a confidential survey, providing valuable insights to help enhance Cotecna’s safety culture.
- Creative Safety Events: Offices hosted poster-making contests, slogan competitions, and role plays to promote safety awareness in engaging and collaborative formats.
